SUNDAYS, July 30 & August 13
Maverick Sunday Murders returns for two performances only with "Speakeasy, Die Easy," a comic noir audience-participation whodunit set in 1932 Prohibition Los Angeles. "Limbo Club" manager Lydia Lawson sends a desperate plea for help to former flame and down-on-his-luck gumshoe Johnny Lomband, who arrives just in time to witness cold-blooded murder! Johnny and audience members witness the crimes, sift through the clues and question the suspects (including the club chanteuse, comic, and waitress; a crusading abolitionist and muck-raking gossip columnist), and one lucky audience member wins a prize for solving the mystery!
Starring Steven Biggs, Mo Arii, Kathy Fischer, Wendy Gallo, Tree Hensen, Bob May and Mark Schwartz,
Technical Director: Jonathan K. Rudder, Produced and Directed by Bob May
